    Reading between the lines...it seems that some gentleman from Fresno CA had an idea or proposed a business deal between he and Inventor Wrigley. Wrigley was already in his waning days so apparently rejected the proposal very graciously thru his secretary. It seems that Mr. Freshon from Fresno went ahead and sent a check which was returned in the second correspondence...GREAT personal William Wrigley Jr. memorabilia...
